On our recent trip to the San Juan Mountains in Southwestern Colorado, @followtiffsjourney and I decided to summit Vermillion 2 Peak or V2 from our camping and paddle boarding destination below at Clear Lake. There was no discernible trail from the Clear Lake side but we made our way up to the 13,309’ peak without too many challenges and were treated to some of the most amazing views of Ice Lake, Island Lake, Fuller Peak, Vermillion Peak, Golden Horn, Pilot Knob, Ulysses S Grant Peak and S Looko
