Char Siu Marinade
Char Siu (叉烧) Recipe below 👇 Pork Belly Marinade 1️⃣ 1.5 tps Chinese 5 Spice 2️⃣ 1.5 tbs Sugar 3️⃣ 1.5 tbs Oyster Sauce 4️⃣ 1.5 tps Sesame Oil 5️⃣ 1.5 tbs Soy Sauce 6️⃣ Few dashes of White Pepper Mix everything above and marinade the meat overnight 7️⃣ Bake meat 15 mins and then turn the meat every 5 minutes after, each time coating the top side with extra sauce from the marinade 8️⃣ Rest 10 mins before serving 9️⃣ Enjoy ✨ #charsiu #bbqpork #homecook #easyrecipes #charsiupork | Alicia Tan

PORK CHAR SIU Make extra for anytime use. Portion it out and store uncooked marinade char siu in individual ziplock bag. Put it in the freezer. Thaw it in the fridge overnight before baking. Makes great topping for noodles soup, banh mi, stir fry or with steam rice. I usually double the recipe every 2-3 months. A quick fix! Recipe: 5-6 lbs pork shoulder butt roast or country style ribs. • 1 pk Chinese bbq char siu seasoning mix• 1/4 cup char siu sauce (Lee kum kee)• 1 cup water • 3 tablespoons m
