We only recommend removing crossing branches to open up the inside of the tree on young, small trees or removing old flower heads (inflorescence) if you choose to do so. Different varieties of Crapemyrtles grow to different mature heights. It’s important to consider the mature height of the tree when planting and to choose the right variety
