Flying Squirrel Takes Off!

This animal gives me so much joy 🥰⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ The Siberian Flying Squirrel is a critically endangered species in Europe which only exists in Finland and Estonia (and Russia). In Finland the main problem for them is a loss of habitat due to extensive logging. Therefore nesting boxes hung by nature lovers help to provide them a safe place to live. ⁣⁣ We were lucky enough to follow this flying squirrel family (a mother with three young ones) for a couple of weeks and these are a few of my favourite mo
