I love the modern look of this Lane cedar chest. The two concealed drawers make this piece so unique. Here’s an overview of how this piece was refinished: IMPORTANT: I removed the top latch of the locking mechanism. These chests have been recalled because children can get trapped inside and suffocate. Removal of this helps to prevent this. Sanded top and bottom frame with my @dewaltca/ @dewalttough random orbit sander using 100 grit and smoothed with 150. After doing some colour testing, mixed e
