I am using Word 365. I have figured out how to add a Custom XML Part through the "Developer" tab and XML Mapping Pane and map a Custom Control to it. I added a couple of variables and then reloaded the XML file. Now I have two instances of the same XML part on the "Custom XML Part" drop down list.
