Jul 4, 2007 · If you want to use BT headphones, I think your option is to connect to your phone, then of course you lose microphone. FWIW, the ANC on the Sena refers to blocking out wind noise from your connected partners mic so you their mic isn't hot all the time and you hear their background noise, not blocking noise around you.

Feb 4, 2007 · Thanks fellas for all the replies. I am really just looking for a way to talk to my wife while riding. I can use my cell phone to make/recieve calls when I stop for breaks. Has anyone tried using 2 hands free wired ear phones with mic that come with today's phones inside the helmet and just calling the other person over the data line?

May 8, 2015 · The thing is, honestly I would rather have something without a boom mic, because I don't really intend to use it and I figure it's just going to take up space in my already cramped helmet. Does such a product exist? So far my research has found nothing, except buying a bluetooth adaptor and using some wired headphones with it.

Feb 8, 2018 · For example, short press advances the trip by 0.1 and long press by 0.01, or vice versa, or any other crazy scheme you can think of :) So you don't need ludicrous number of buttons on the handlebar. You can even use device's own volume buttons or the ones connected to the wired headphones in a pinch.

I also got some cheap $5 bluetooth speaker/boom mike combo because F it, if California is gonna bust me for almost $20 in tax I might as well get more cheap crap while I'm ordering (I'm still using Skullcandy wired headphones).

I purchased and then ripped apart a set of Sony DJ headphones with 40mm drivers and simply soldered a micro JST connector onto the new driver. Then opened the SRL speaker case and disconnected the old/plugged in the new.

Apr 7, 2016 · Contacted Sena support, followed all their suggestions, tried all 3 of the microphones that came with it, firmware update, reset, factory reset tried different cell phones. So I sent it back and received a replacement unit today. Doing the same thing. I can't believe I spent so much for basically terrible sounding bluetooth headphones.

Jun 6, 2023 · What could be the problem? Is it then that the helmet doesn't have it's speakers wired correctly or some other wire connectivity issue within the helmet? I was able to get the SC2 to pair with the app on my phone and the app said 'Connected for audio and calls', but no sound from the speakers in the helmet. Has anyone experienced this?
