In his first year of leadership, Gordon has demonstrated a visionary approach, successfully launching key initiatives that have significantly advanced the association’s mission and impact.

The AVCA is proud to announce its 2024 Division I Women’s Volleyball All-Region teams and award winners. There are 14 All-Region team members and 6-8 honorable mention selections for each of the 10 regions. Additionally, a Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for the regions.

The American Volleyball Coaches Association is proud to announce the 2024 Girls High School Region Coaches of the Year. This year’s recipients are a diverse group, as they represent teams from 24 states and a wide range of schools—large and small, urban and rural, public and private.

This year, the AVCA All-America nomination process received two major updates. For the first time ever, All-America nominations were opened up to underclassmen, and the AVCA opened its own player stats portal–which made the MaxPreps stats submission portion of the process optional for coaches.

The AVCA is proud to announce its 43rd annual All-America teams for NCAA Division I women’s volleyball. The 2024 list includes 42 players—14 on the first, second, and third teams—from 25 schools.

Eight of the nation’s top collegiate volleyball teams will open the 2025 women’s season­­ at the AVCA First Serve August 22-24 in Lincoln, NE. This event will feature the first 6 matches of 2025 Division I women’s volleyball and promises to kick off the season with a bang!
