Feels solid and good when on the highway, while being small and light. Top car is mine, the rest have been loaners while mine has had visits to the dealer.

2008年1月20日 · I really like the Polo but it does have a small boot and the diesel (the best of the engines) comes in manual only so doesn't fit with our family requirements. The Golf is a lot more spacious and has heaps more room in the boot. If you want to save some money, the 1.9L engine is also available in the Golf.

2018年11月9日 · With Mazda and Toyota our own experience has been that people want stupid unreasonable amounts 2nd hand vs new which will find with great discounts ! Don’t get caught up with people’s stereotypes of service cost either. Having owned a Vw golf it cost us less to service sgd maintain vs wife’s Mazda which had shorter service intervals.

2022年8月17日 · What are your thoughts on this car compared to the Polo GTI? It uses standard VW running gear so under the hood its all VW, its re-skinned for that Skoda feel and runs the 1.5l which is really punchy but its a warm not a hot hatch. The Polo GTI has 2.0, this engine is detuned Golf GTI engine but more than enough for the Polo GTI.

2017年4月14日 · The Golf is only serviced once a year (vs 6 months for most Jap brands?). Every 10,000km's and costs were $260 for a regular service and $450 for the 60,000km's and $1000 for 100,000km which included replacing the timing belt which is a bugger in the old Liberty.
