I don't think it's fair to compare flame atronochs to summoned white phantoms. That setup basically means 3 Chosen Undead vs a Dragonborn and two minions.

Now, you say that the Dragonborn can simply erase the Chosen Undead from existence using magic or the Thu'um and — while I do not doubt such applications of these abilities are possible within the setting of Elder Scrolls — the Dragonborn that is the player character of Skyrim has demonstrated no such ability with either magic or the Thu'um.

2020年3月18日 · R1: Chosen Undead wins. Even if the Dragonborn has a slight advantage in spells (particularly restoration), the combat in Dark Souls is far more developed and can afford abilities like parrying or rolling. Beginning-game Dovahkiin can't even shield bash without a perk.

2023年6月5日 · I love how they decided to use a variety of shouts throughout the fight, along with the Chosen Undead swapping weapons to counter the Dragonborn. I also loved the ending, with the Chosen Undead (presumably) amplifying the first flame to try and take down the Dragonborn, with the Dragonborn responding by using the Thu'um to snuff the flame out.

2023年6月6日 · Dragonborn in this logic of plot is supposed to be the final boss, the one obstacle keeping the Chosen Undead from linking the fire. Gamewise, in no Dark Souls game (even in Dark Souls 2) are you able to link the fire before the final boss is dead.

2023年1月7日 · The Dragonborn has an innate affinity to this, and learns this shout in a timespan which reasonably is probably a few weeks. So the Dragonborn scales higher than this by the end of the game. I just don't see how the Chosen Undead stands up to the firepower of the Dragonborn. The Chosen Undead would get blitzed and eviscerated.
