2017年5月18日 · I purchased the Mopar diesel turbocharger clearner and when it arrived, I learned that you need a special tool to apply it. Is the cleaner to be applied directly to the turbo intake or is there a specific way to apply it? Are there alternatives to applying it or is there another cleaner that can be applied (i.e., aerosol spray, pump spray)? Any help would be appreciated.

2012年8月27日 · Allow it to sit 30 min, then spray the back of the turbo with the carb cleaner trying to spray as far inside as possible. Stay the turbo with compressed air to try and remove any standing liquid.

2015年12月5日 · I sprayed a cleaner in the back side of the turbo on my 06 for this purpose but no long term results. About the guy that drilled the holes in the turbo, I think it only worked on one of the two trucks he tried. It's my understanding that some need a certain amount of abrasive cleaning on the unison ring to rectify the problem.
