2023年10月12日 · I considered using the platform for my Hawk Lightweight climber, but I have always thought id prefer a traditional saddle style platform for mobility and ability to take side pressure in the tree. I might have to give it a go one of these days, as it definitely would be an easier climb than the 1 sticking I currently do.

2024年9月4日 · The knobs are great as long as they hold up. The one knob is marked so you can pull it out, turn it slightly and move the belt in and out freely and then turn it back where it goes and it will drop in one of the holes in the belt. I can have the platform on the tree and adjusted in less than a minute from leaving the pack.

Instead of rappelling down with my platform, I left it attached to the tree and rappelled down off to the side of the platform.

2023年11月14日 · I’ve been using the LWHC as my climbing method and platform for five seasons. I haven’t seen this one in person, but comparing it to the couple other entries in this market, this looks to be the best by far. I really like the flip up post that will secure the platform to allow it to take side pressure. I’m curious to see if it will Fold flat.

2019年8月12日 · You have one on the very end that is on the post. Wrap the tag end around the tree and loop it around the post so that it is doubled onto it self. Pull, then wrap the tag back around the amsteel several times, pull again, cam over. The force pushing the cord against the tree locks it together by compressing those wraps.
