Tortuous Ductus Arteriosus - BabyCenter
2012年9月5日 · The ductus arteriosus can become elongated and tortuous later in gestation, leading to increased ductal velocities which are usually of no significance.
Fetal echocardiographic diagnosis of isolated ductus arteriosus ...
2005年5月31日 · The prenatal diagnosis of ductus arteriosus aneurysm (DAA) has been reported in isolated case reports and a retrospective study 1-7. It is often seen in the latter part of the third trimester of pregnancy.
Prenatal diagnosis of ductus arteriosus aneurysm - PMC
DAA is an increasingly recognised lesion in the prenatal period. Although the outlook is generally benign, there is a small possibility of significant complications from this lesion. Most DAAs appear to be isolated cardiac defects.
We present a series of ductus arteriosus constriction, of which 3 cases were associated with tricuspid regurgitation, 1 case with right sided domi-nance of the heart and 1 case with moderate to severe right ventricular hypertrophy. Mild cases require close fetal monitoring and severe cases may need urgent delivery.
The Many Faces of Neonatal Ductus Arteriosus Aneurysms: …
Neonatal ductus arteriosus aneurysm (DAA) is characterized by focal saccular or diffuse tubular dilatation of the ductus arteriosus and is typically diagnosed at fetal third trimester or early postnatal echocardiography. It is often an incidental finding with the reported incidence ranging from 1.5% to 8.8% (1 – 4).
Diagnosis of fetal ductus arteriosus aneurysm: importance of the …
2005年6月22日 · DAA was diagnosed when there was a tortuous ductus arteriosus with a dilation that protruded leftward of the aortic arch. In the first case, an insulin-dependent diabetic woman underwent fetal ultrasound examination at 36 weeks' gestation showing right-to-left cardiac disproportion and bidirectional flow in the aorta and main pulmonary artery (PA).

Ductus arteriosus and fetal echocardiography: Implications for …
2018年3月9日 · The ductus arteriosus (DA) is a crucial part of the fetal circulation, both in the normal fetus and in critical congenital heart disease (CHD). It allows shunting between the pulmonary and systemic circulations.

We describe a case of a 38-year-old woman presenting at 34+0 weeks of gestation with a normally grown male fetus whose fetal echocardiography had shown right ventricular hypertrophy, a tortuous S-shaped DA and a significant pulmonary hyperflow.
