2024年12月24日 · The only place with any hint of the group is, ironically, the Vatican secret archives, and they don't exactly have definite time periods of keeping things a secret like, say, the Disney vault. They aren't too unique, as many groups have had a similar fate to it, but it does raise a question I was wondering.

2024年12月28日 · The Tang era generals - who had more access to sources than us - considered the best 4 ancient generals to be Bai Qi, Han Xin, Wei Qing, and Huo Qubing. The former two are obvious top 10's if not 5's in history (the latter for Han Xin, Bai Qi having limited sources), but the latter two are certainly well above anyone listed in the thread so far.

No changes in the Top 50. With the arrival of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, I *believe* most feel that Hideyoshi should be ranked higher than Takeda Shingen.

We know that Sulla started out with 40,000 men, while Pompeius had raised 15,000 men from Picenum. Pompeius also supposedly joined up with Sulla sometime before he moved on Teanum and compelled Scipio's 20,000 men to desert.
