2023年3月14日 · To validate that the BAR has been resized simply run $ sudo dmesg | grep BAR it should report something like this [ 7.859345] [drm] Detected VRAM RAM=12272M, BAR=16384M if BAR= reports 256M resizable BAR is probably not working. However if it is any higher than that it should be enabled.

2021年8月16日 · Do you guys enable Resizable bar with your gpus? I have a rtx 3080 and I believe this option is available in my bios. I read it doesn't really do much but at least its free performance, although I read some games actually loses fps when turning it on. Games I play ate cyberpunk, battlefield 5, warzone, doom eternal, overwatch.

2021年3月30日 · So to my understanding when switching on resizable bar on my MSI z390 a pro Board I can No longer Boot from my Drive because it is a MBR Partition instead of the GPT it would need. So i am now switching from win 10 bios (legacy) boot on to UEFI boot. So for other people with this Problem I will try to use the MBR2GPT.exe Tool.

2023年2月2日 · From BIOS: 1. change CSM to UEFI (UEFI only) 2. enable Above 4G Decoding 3. enable resizable bar. Normally, if you enable resizable bar in BIOS, it should change the other options automatically (at least it does in MSI motherboards with latest BIOS versions).

In BIOS, make sure to lookout for C.A.M. if you have an Intel System or Re-Size BAR Support if you have an AMD System. Also make sure you have the latest BIOS installed (especially when you have some older Intel board) as it could be that your BIOS version is to old for it to support it and that your GPU drivers are up to date as well

2023年12月31日 · Enabling resizable bar is a first thing what you should do if you want to play Fortnite. Enable it in BIOS first, then you need to download Nvidia Profile Inspector, open it, find Fortnite game in the list, find rebar and set it from Disabled to Enabled and apply changes. You will need to repeat this action after every driver update btw.
