Outlook New is a work in progress and is still missing MANY features available in the classic desktop client. Outlook New is Outlook for the Web (OWA) wrapped in what amounts to a PWA wrapper.

If you want to use the old, good Outlook (which is much better at the moment) you need to turn off the new Outlook switch in the title bar. You can use both - pin Outlook Pre to the taskbar then turn it off and use the good one.

2013年11月16日 · File Edit Favorites Tools Help. for some reason the above refuses to come up in Outlook/hotmail, if it did, I can solve the problem of getting the same emails on my other devices by unchecking the setting of 'leave a copy on the server'. A simple enough solution but without accessibility of the above menu...you cannot do it.

2018年10月19日 · File tab is in Outlook desktop software, not Outlook on the web. You dont need to go there to delete old mail - just find the messages and hit Del on your keyboard. Then empty the deleted items folder (and the recover deleted items folder if you want them gone for good.)
