2016年2月1日 · The Visitors Center offers several interactive displays and a 10-minute video explaining how nuclear power is made. The tour includes a view of a control room simulator in which reactor operators are trained, as well as a driving tour for an up-close view of Comanche Peak Power Plant.

The B Reactor is located on the secure Hanford Nuclear Reservation. In-person visitation is only authorized via guided tours offered by the Department of Energy.

Tours of the UWNR are conducted on weekdays for groups of up to 20 participants and last 30 to 45 minutes in duration. These tours will show the reactor pooltop, with the ability to look down directly at the reactor core, and the reactor control room.
