The fish have been in the mix of Copper Power and nitrofurazone for 2 full days now and seem to be doing fine. So two questions: 1) is it normal for the water to be cloudy from the nitrofurazone?

2020年3月5日 · @Humblefish i know you recommend 500 mg of nitrofurazone per per 20-40 gallons... however the Furan 2 each packet contains 85 mg per 10 gallons.... this doesn’t jive up with your recommendations..... is the furan 2 a less potent version of nitrofurazone or do they act and do the same thing as straight nitrofurazone power at 500 mg/ 20-40 ...

2020年4月4日 · Nitrofurazone on its own shouldn’t affect the bio filter. Are you using a mix with methylene blue? If so then it will impact the bio filter. If using furan 2 or nitrofurazone alone you can safely dose biospira. Another option is to dose prime or another detoxifier. Carbon and water changes will remove antibiotics.
