At Sculptured Rocks Natural Area in Groton, a footbridge provides a crow’s-eye view of the gorge, which is about 20 feet deep here.

Beautiful lake for tubing, fishing or pulling up to where the locals anchor their boats and you can get out and stand on the sand bar, float on a raft and just enjoy. There was no cost for taking our boat in. If you are using the beach area only there was a fee.
