I will be moving it about 12 feet away from where it is right now and I expect that means moving it 12 feet further from the main stack that has venting. Everything I read says I will need to maintain a 1/4 inch drop for every foot of run of the pipe. I think I can do do this.

Cut the copper, get a copper-to-pvc adapter (generically called a Fernco, but Fernco is just one specific manufacturer of such products), and replumb whatever you need with PVC, which is easy to work with. However, I don't see a vent anywhere.

Up against that wall is another toilet and a small, stand-up shower that we never use and will be replaced. From what I can see in the basement, the two second-story toilets share one 3.25" drains to the basement and into my septic system.
