2023年5月1日 · I have a B450 Tomahawk (not MAX) but it should be otherwise identical and a Ryzen 7 5800X3D. I upgraded right around when the first beta BIOS supporting the 5800X3D was released. Since then I have been keeping the bios up to date as there were some issues AMD had with TPM stuttering, which is an issue for users running windows 11.

2022年1月12日 · The specs include ryzen 5 3500 with rx6600, msi b450,16gb ram, 240 gb m.2 nvme, 450 psu, 1tb hard drive. the budget is tight so changing pars is hard. I realized that the rx6600 uses a 16 pin pcie gen 4.0 connecter whereas i have b450 which have pcie gen 3.0 slot.

2021年10月24日 · I have the msi b450 gaming max, 5800x and 32G @ 3600 of RAM and can confirm it works just fine. Cinebench @ 4.65ghz and gaming @ 4.85ghz using the beta bios from the msi website.

I think I have figured out how to solve B450 tomahawk max audio problems, particularly it being silent. Download the newest audio drivers from here (select driver, your OS, On-Board audio drivers, Realtek HD Universal driver (if you have Windows 10 RS3 or later versions)).
