Jul 16, 2011 · I found you had to remove the anti-roll bar and also remove one of the bolts from the lower arm, the one nearest the spring, and also required a lot of jigglin. Also for my car, diesel, needed a 19mm for the strut tower centre bolt

Feb 19, 2010 · I'm looking to get a budget drop for my e30. It seems like the Bavarian Autosport Suspension Kit is the cheapest way to do it. It includes 4 Bilstein sport shocks and 4 Bavarian Auto sport springs, and runs $563. Does anyone know of any cheaper options out there?

The Bimmerfest project 328i is lowered on H&R sport springs and sitting on 19" VMR V718s. The springs have the perfect drop, I just wish they were a little stiffer. H&Rs are the popular choice.

Apr 30, 2015 · I just fitted the Eibach Pro series springs to my 2010 i30 cw. The rear springs took me 20 mins a side and the fronts about 40 min a side. The problem you will have as i did is the rear camber will be excessive if it's an independent rear end.

Sep 3, 2020 · Please do an online search of lowering springs without replacing factory shocks. Before I got my BMW, I had a few jeep wranglers. You could easily do tons of modifications to rims, tires, and suspension without doing any damage to gearing and other issues.

Admittedly not a fan at the beginning, I quickly fell in love after an extended test drive. Aug 2, 2013 · cheapest is heating the coils. problems, you cant get each coil perfectly matched to the others so you have in essence 4 different spring rates and height. second cheapest, but the better route, h&r springs. I know a lot about cars. I can look at a car's headlights and tell you exactly which way it's coming. Not ideal, but you could cut the coils.
