Landforms vary in size and shape, as well as elevation levels. Mountains, plains, and plateaus are the main types of landforms, but there are many more. Bodies of water are important for many reasons, including transportation of goods, travel, erosion, and vegetation.

The purpose of this lesson is to provide students with experience creating models of landforms and bodies of water. Students review the characteristics of landforms and bodies of water in an active game, and then make models of these.
