2010年11月24日 · Avoid it like the plague. Century L1A1's are generally poor quality, and can be had for much cheaper, 600$ range. My buddy got stuck with one that was promised to be a "shooter", it was not. Century products are 90% garbage, no matter what knock off they are re-producing. Find an Imbel or DSA, that is the 1000$ quality FAL purchase to make.

2013年6月1日 · Hello all! Noob here. I recently picked up an Imbel L1A1 and unfortunately live in Connecticut. For anyone in the gun world who doesn't know the crazy BS going on here, unless pending litigation succeeds, we will have to apply for "special" registration of any-and-all assault weapons and hi-cap mags no later than January 1st 2014 or become felons automatically.

2011年12月3日 · In 1996 I bought a L1A1 Sporter from a now defunct department store. It is a feral assortment of questionable parts...save a new IMBEL receiver. It has a thumb-hole stock, and a barrel that was apparently cleaved of its flash suppressor by a drunken lemur. The dust cover may have been pounded into shape from an old section of a rain gutter.

2011年2月26日 · I have a FAL the upper is stamped "L1A1 Sporter, Receiver by Hesse US, Assembled by CAI, 1707" The lower is stamped "Made in Canada C1AL" an the serial number is on the other side.

2009年12月24日 · It says L1A1 Sporter cal .308 Receiver made by Imbel - Brazil imported by CAI St. Alb VT All is really know is that it shoots great. I have a handful of large clips, either 20 or 30 rnd, can't remember. I thought 30 but haven't checked. I have been out shooting with it a few times and have always hit very well at 75 yard range.

2008年6月29日 · L1A1 Sporter Cal 308 Receiver made by IMBEL - Brazil Imported by CAI ST AlB VT Barrel has no flash suppressor, Black synthetic stock, Carry handle, folding charging handle, 20 round Mag, looks in decent shape. I have been interested in the FN style gun and this one has popped up. Just don't want to get stuck with one of the bad ones.

2010年5月3日 · I got this a year or so ago for $500. It was one of the older ban Century sporters with thumbhole stock with inch pattern gas block. The shop owner gave me a second lower for it with original British plastic furniture. Later I picked up a used L1A1 parts kit with some dinged up wood furniture and enough US made parts for 922r compliance.
