2020年12月25日 · It seemed a lot greener than the Aegean islands. It gets more rain, though from June to August the average rainfall is low enough I don't think most people would find it an issue. The Wikipedia entries for the various islands give average monthly rainfall statistics that can be helpful if that's a concern.

2016年7月20日 · I've never been to the Ionian or Sporades Islands so can't comment on that. Two books I highly recommend would be Greek Island Hopping (Frewin Poffley, 2010) and Blue Guide to the Aegean (Somerset, 2010) with Blue Guide being far better and more informative.

Want to show wife the beauty of the greek islands and after just finishing a trip to Spain we are looking to avoid tourist crowds when possible.

2024年5月15日 · Santorini, Paros and Milos are in the Cyclades Islands. Lefkada and Kefalonia are in the Ionian Islands. Island hopping is not possible between these two island groups. Anyway, visiting 5 islands in 2 weeks is too much, sometimes even impossible. 3 islands is the maximum if you don't want to spend your time on transfers.

2016年9月14日 · A lot could depend on which Ionian islands you want to visit. There are direct flights between Mykonos and Corfu. From Corfu you could also get to Zakynthos (short flight) and Paxos (ferry). Lots of things are possible but a lot depends on scheduling.
