2011年12月22日 · Our bedroom furniture is Hemnes. It is probably toward the upper level of Ikea quality. We've had it for 7 or so years probably, and it's survived a few moves. They are starting to get a little worn down now, but I expect that from most Ikea stuff. Most of it really isn't made to last forever. Regardless, for the price, quality, etc.,

The slats are sturdy, the crib does not wobble at all and it was extremely easy to put together for Ikea furniture. It also comes with the toddler bed conversion kit already with it. The only drawback with the Hensvik is it only comes in white. FWIW, we went to Ikea and I yanked, shook, and prodded all of the crib styles they had.

I dont have an Ikea crib but I can offer some advice. when a crib is converted to a toddler bed it means you just take off one side and have rhe mattress at the very bottom. the conversion kit is for you to block off the areas they were connected and keep it sturdy. as far as mattresses, I have heard that there are very few that fit in the IKEA crib that arent from them.

Hey there ladies...after reading one of the previous post on the HEMNES dresser and taking a look at both at the store, I'm debating between the following two IKEA dressers to be used as a changing table:

We have a Graco crib and an Ikea mattress. The mattress was cheap and it fits our crib. We can't really ask our 6 month old how he likes it, but it seems to do its job. I believe they are a standard size crib mattress, but that standard can vary by an inch or so in either direction. You might want to check the dimensions on the Ikea site.

The closest Ikea to me is about 3 hours away. I've looked at local furniture stores for dressers but haven't found anything worthwhile and have been planning a trip to Ikea since everyone seems to recommend this dresser. My question though is will the box it comes in fit into the backseat of a sedan (I plan on getting the 8 drawer one)?

I had an older Ikea dresser a few years ago and had to toss it because the bottom of the drawers sagged, got stuck and wouldn't open, then eventually just fell out. The closest Ikea is quite far from me and I'd prefer not to make the trip if the Hemnes is just another piece of junk! I would love your honest opinions ) "> ">

2012年12月6日 · I cant say about Ikea Sundvik crib as I have never used it, but I have a crib and I use a standard size mattress in it and it fits perfect in it. I think you should first measure the dimensions of your crib, then only you can find a suitable mattress for it.

The ikea cribs are so low I'm wondering if it would be a back killer. ;)Like the pp, I looove the look of the Jenny Lind, but it looks so delicate, I wonder if it's stable and sturdy enough. Report 0 Reply to Post
