2006年8月21日 · I took anatomy first. Anatomy is more straight forward, just pure memorization (in fact, a lot of it). Physiology focuses more on chemical process in different parts of the body. I definitely think physiology is harder than anatomy because it requires much more ctitical thinking and more chemistry background (well, at least at my school).

2004年1月13日 · 6. I used Grant's dissector & Netter's atlas. I used the reserve copy of Rohen to get an idea of the size of certain structures but Netter and Grant's Dissector were my main study tools. I also had a book of cross sectional anatomy (called Cross-Sectional Anatomy) that I used to study cross sectional structures. 7. Finish all dissections.

2014年12月23日 · Taking anatomy before medical school is going to make anatomy SO much easier. I promise you. Don't listen to people here that say it won't really help. Anatomy is a time sinker and if you have taken it before (especially 1-2 years before you matriculate), your life is going to be so much easier...

2012年5月9日 · The study skills and background you come in with from stuff like anatomy, biochem, and phys can be huge. If you really insist on pre-studying gross, I would use an undergrad level anatomy book at most.

2007年6月21日 · Anatomy lab is a rite of passage of medical school. When you're in there slicing through layers of fascia and fat and dissecting body parts, you really feel like a medical student. Some people find anatomy lab extremely helpful while others find it less so. I was in the latter camp, but I don't want to dissuade anyone from going to lab.

2004年12月30日 · I made study summaries and kept up with the material and dissection. In the end, I honored gross anatomy, micro anatomy and embryology. The biggest thing that made a difference in my study was good and through prep BEFORE lecture and active listening during lecture and demonstrations. Good luck! njbmd 🙂

2009年8月20日 · I've resorted to slowly going through Gray's Anatomy for Students (our lecture book) and annotating all the pictures. I put in anywhere from 4-6 hours a nite during the week and 8-9 on saturday and sunday. I had anatomy in undergrad but this is so much more in depth. I have to study that much just to keep up with the material.

2014年12月26日 · Essential Anatomy is hands down the best app that we could use! It is a very powerful tool. Money well spent. I use it on my iPad in class and at home, and even used it on my iPhone when in the cadaver lab. No other anatomy app compares to this one. Some of my classmates got different, cheaper ones and regretted it. Here is the link:

2014年7月27日 · This semester we only have normal exams for anatomy, no practicals, because we have 1 2-hr pro-section lab a week and no extra access to the anatomy lab for studying. Ive been taking notes on the lectures, watching youtube videos over and over again, and bought some pre made flashcards
