2021年2月22日 · When I connect my Sony DCR-HC14E camcorder to my Windows 10 PC using either firewire-USB connector the camera is not recognized. I have also tried to connect to the camera via Sony's "Play Memories" software and I can't get the camera recognized. How can I get the video on the tapes imported into my computer? Thanks.

2022年1月31日 · I have a Sony Camcorder model DCR-TRV17. It has an ILink output for connecting to PC 1394 port. I had to add a IEEE 1394 PCI-Express card to my PC to provide the necessary port. Hardware manager sees the new card, and says it is working properly. The PC sees the camera and has that listed.

On the camera, there is an option that lets you transfer photos to a computer, but it doesn't work because it thinks my camera isn't plugged into my laptop. I don't have an SD card slot, which is annoying because I could have also used that. But this isn't my only problem.
