For example: the 2.0 liter engine in the Honda S2000 makes 237 HP and 153 ft lbs. of torque, but the 2.0 turbo in the Chevy Malibu makes 259 HP and 295 ft lbs. of torque.

Looking at Craigslist it is hard to find an S2000 for less than $15k. These cars usually are well above 100k miles, and while still usually in great looking condition, are at least 16 years old. I am sure they are worth their asking price since so many people are listing them around the same amount, but that is Porsche pricing.

2022年1月23日 · The main consensus on every forum is to use full synthetic 10W-30 oil with a Honda filter. Nowadays it should be the PCX-306 filter due to a change in OEM (Filtech to Mahle).

I still have my Y2K S2K. I replaced my timing chain tensioner and that fixed my idle issue. If the chain isn't tight, having an engine out of its proper timing can make any car run like crap. Its common for the OEM S2K timing chain tensioners to only last up to ~35k miles. Hope this helps!

2023年4月20日 · The AP2 was the objectively superior S2000 with fixed suspension geometry and an engine which delivered more power earlier in the power curve in a more linear fashion.

Only a few roads are actually good for s2000 agility, most of the time you want to freaking pass someone on the highway or accelerate from a red light. That being said, after having 2 superchargers on s2k and naturally aspirated, i'm just sick of working on this f-ing car lol.
