2015年12月31日 · It's not all funny, of course, but it does have many good working class poems. Also, if you haven't read it, I highly recommend Rivethead by Ben Hamper. It's about his time working on an automobile factory in Detroit--GM, if I'm remembering correctly. It is funny, but also shows both the monotony, pride, and solidarity of the workers.

2023年5月10日 · Ogden Nash is a good choice for brief rhymes that fit what most people think of for "humor" and "poetry" I think Ted Berrigan is frequently hilarious, although the humor won't be as obvious. "Sunday Morning" is a good example. Charles Bernstein is funny but dry and can be more difficult to read.

The next one, he was still an awesome/funny guy, but that assembly was mainly comprised of students reciting poems that they wrote that day, and well.....it was cringe inducing, to say the least. In the end, he is still a great speaker, but the majority (there were some good ones) of high schoolers are shit poets.
