Nixon continues to toy with Frost, even asking him about his sexual relations with Caroline just before one of the taping start. Frost almost corners Nixon on Vietnam and Cambodia, but Nixon is able to control the narrative.

Even while off-camera, all of the actors would remain in character and continue the Frost/Nixon rivalry by bickering and making fun of each other. Frank Langella won a Tony Award in 2007 for playing Richard Nixon in the original stage production.

The film contains infrequent very mild innuendo including a passing reference to "fornication". It is implied that Frost sleeps with a woman on a plane. Nixon looks lustfully at Frost's girlfriend.

The interview with Frost at the end of the film is quite useful and throws up the type of background that Howard's film gives you as well as the type of anecdotes that Frost has been pushing on the talk shows recently it makes it interesting and is a useful addition to the piece.

I don't know if it's true, but the film indicates that as origin of President's lack of scruples. Anthony Hopkins assures the main role in an interesting performance, but that's far from being his best.
