2023年7月2日 · As others have mentioned, most cars in the market these days have had the common issues (stickies, headers) addressed. My Ferrari progression was 360 manual -> 355 GTS manual -> F430 F1 and I have been extremely impressed with the F1 gearbox and the overall speed of the F430 on Cup 2s.

I'd never driven a Ferrari before my buddy let me drive his 360 Modena gated manual. Lovely. I rented a 488 GTB in Las Vegas for 5 laps on their track (among a few other cars), and was really impressed.

2020年10月10日 · The Ferrari heat shields being welded onto the headers actually act as an oven and do not release heat the way they were intended. The challenge are better than the spider and coup because there is no pre-cat in the header so they do not get as hot.

2008年6月1日 · Any Ferrari from the '80s up to now can be daily drivers, I have done it. The F430 can very easily be used daily, I did it with mine for the first six months, but bought another car (Porsche) which I drive daily, and the reason is because for me the F430 is a very expensive car.

2012年4月18日 · At 10,000 miles, I took the car for its 2nd annual service at Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale (best Ferrari dealer experience ever). I asked for another clutch read out, and it came at 16% usage. I once again inspected the clutch and it is still in great conditions. Zero clutch slipping, as seen on my track videos where I shift at high RPM and full gas.

2020年7月14日 · I think most of the 4-1 manifolds sound good, especially combined with 200 or 100 cell cats, but other key points to note are the difference between F430 and Scuderia - for obvious reasons - and between MY05-MY06 and MY07 onwards due to engine changes.

2021年1月19日 · The F430 has always been one of my favorite cars. In some ways, more mechanical and less electronic-y than the 458. I like the mechanical clanks of the gearbox shifting back there. But it is older and can break. When it does its not cheap. But, neither is any Ferrari. I agree the F430 will hold up its value longer. People like mid engine ...
