Mission - SpaceX
On February 7, 2018, Falcon Heavy made its first launch to orbit, successfully landing 2 of its 3 boosters and launching its payload to space. With more than 5 million pounds of thrust at liftoff, Falcon Heavy is one of the most capable rockets flying.
SpaceX offers competitive pricing for its Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launch services. SpaceX also offers crew transportation services tolow-Earth orbit (LEO) destinations.See additional
Falcon 9 - SpaceX
Falcon 9 generates more than 1.7 million pounds of thrust at sea level. The nine Merlin engines on the first stage are gradually throttled near the end of first-stage flight to limit launch vehicle acceleration as the rocket’s mass decreases with the burning of fuel.
With the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launch vehicles, SpaceX is able to offer a full spectrum of medium- and heavy-lift launch capabilities to its customers (Figure 1-1), as well as small and micro satellite launch capabilities via its Rideshare Program.
Starship - SpaceX
SUPER HEAVY. Super Heavy is the first stage, or booster, of the Starship launch system. Powered by 33 Raptor engines using sub-cooled liquid methane (CH 4) and liquid oxygen (LOX), Super Heavy is fully reusable and will re-enter Earth’s atmosphere to land back at the launch site.
Launches - SpaceX
SpaceX is standing down from launch of Starlink on Friday, November 18 to take a closer look at data from static fire and will announce a new target launch date once confirmed.
