2012年2月15日 · It's a chore putting away cooked food immediately while it is still warm, eg by storing it in the oven. Installing a true door doesnt look practical- but all the pet gates are too short for cats. Does anyone have a source for a super tall, catproof adjustable door gate? Thanks

2011年5月25日 · 42" tall might just do it. But here is the thing with those gates, I had one too, and my cats were able to squeeze right through the bars!!! It depends on the size of your cats, I guess. I did the same thing as Natalie, doubling up two gates stacked on top of each other. They are easy to put up and take down.

2018年11月13日 · I tried the cat gate with wire shelves and zip ties with Krista back when she was more barfy and I didn’t understand IBD yet. If she barfed once, we’d weather out the rest of it in “cat jail” (my home office) until she was done. (Bold move letting a barfy cat ride my belly!) I only used 42” shelves. It worked out though.

2012年3月23日 · We built a tall locking gate with hinges that we could easily open and close, and attached it to the walls. We made the posts vertical so it was more difficult to climb. The only horizontal ones were the very bottom and top to hold the posts. Baby gates I found were very easy to climb because they had places for them to grab hold.

2012年3月23日 · I've read around the internet and have seen that some people deworm their cats 1-2 a year as a precaution. my cat is indoor only. but there are 2 dogs that are indoor/outdoor if that makes any difference. i have her on revolution which protects from heart worm, but i know there are other worms.

They might not be long enough though to cover all the way to the top of your doorframe, so you may need to improve a way to attach 2 sections vertically.

2017年8月23日 · My cat can squeeze out of our gate that leads to the downstairs, I’ll try and attach a video. But the bars must be too far apart, they’re 2 1/2 inches apart. She’s a fully grown cat at 8 pounds. And apparently that’s all she needs to squeeze though. I could put wire on the whole thing but then she will probably scale the gate.

2016年6月3日 · So I need to get a cat gate to separate two fighting cats. My little female cat does not like our youngest, who is full grown. We have decided to gate off half of our hallway to give both plenty of room to run around in. It doesn't matter if the big boy can get over it, we just need to keep the girl from getting through.
