I had tried this code before and thought it didn't work. It turns out this controls just about everything EXCEPT the volume. Since Dtv has you press the volume to see if a code works I didn't realize it "took".

Other than the $400+ remotes (URC, Crestron), I suspect that the Sofabaton may be one of your very few options as most of the other players in the programmable remote business have walked away.

I don't know the DTV remote number (it's worn off the remote face) but the remote does not contain codes to control this tv, after going through the whole search effort and trying the codes listed so far in this thread.

2024年3月26日 · Out of the blue (and this has only happened on two occasions) pressing the volume on the Osprey remote would make the volume keep going up or down all the way. Pressing input on the Osprey remote would cause the TV to keep changing inputs. repeatedly and would not stop. I finally determined it was the Apple TV remote causing the issue.

2024年7月9日 · I have a Hopper 3 with a Dish Remote 54.0 and a new TCL Tv with Fire OS. I tried all the TCL and Insignia remote codes for the Dish Remote but none work. It doesn't appear that the Dish Remote 54.0 learns IR codes. Is it a reasonable plan to buy a Dish Remote 40.0 on Amazon/EBay and have it learn codes from the TCL Remote?

2009年10月5日 · Wrong!!! You were never ever able to turn on/off the Tivo with remote, since it didn't have power key. Tivo remotes turned on/off two things, TV & AV receiver. The directv remote can only turn on/off two things, DVR & TV. The tivo remote wasn't device driven remote, the Directv remotes are.

My initial goal was to use my Genie remote without the AVR running and simply control the volume and on/off for the LG TV. Hence the need for a remote code. At this point, I am starting to believe there are no codes for this tv. I'll keep looking.
