2022年4月14日 · At this point no, the Caves of Qud input manager cannot map a diagonal stick movement as an individual input. The prerelease input manager treats the vertical and horizontal axis as two separate inputs. So that if combined, you get a diagonal. Great for movement and menu navigation, not so much for anything else.

2021年3月19日 · Caves of Qud uses the numpad or arrowkeys + shift. For another control scheme, you can hit "Reset keybindings" and then select "Use laptop defaults" to swap the movement controls to be HJKL with YUBN as diagonals (this is also known as vi keys). Gamepad does work with Qud, I plan on writing a fuller section on this later.

My theory is that they will see you if there is any unbroken line of transparent tiles between you (or the object being stolen from? either?) and the NPC. So they do not have to be in line of sight.
