2011年9月19日 · The City of Burgos is famous for its very impressive Cathedral, built in the Gothic and most extravagant style.There is a two story cloister and on the upper floor is a large Cathedral Museum which contains many tapestries of the 16th and 17th centuries, and many works of art having to do with the church.

2010年2月21日 · In September 2009 I took this photograph in Burgos Cathedral. At the time I took it to be of St James because of the staff, gourd and scallop shells. Then at home I wondered wether it was in fact St James. The exposed leg and red ulcer(?) suggest that it may be San Roche. The other things that puzzle be are the wings and fish in his right hand.

2018年3月16日 · I finished in Burgos in early June 2015 and kinda know the area between the bus station and the cathedral. I also stayed at the albergue behind the cathedral so was hoping to go back. Fingers crossed they are not ‘completo’.

2021年7月20日 · Based on other news sources, here is a summary: This is a project to replace three neoclassical wooden doors of the Burgos Cathedral by modern bronze doors to celebrate and commemorate the 800th anniversary of the laying of the first stone for this magnificent Gothic building. Photos of the planned project are shown in the next two posts.
