It will fail for you right when you need it most. It will be a continual pissoff. The first time it doesn’t work you’ll wonder about the batts and replace them. And maybe that wasn’t the problem.

2024年12月11日 · Although if I switch the ceiling receptacle to a 2-outlet GFCI, I can also just power my LED shop lights that way. So maybe I'll just swap all the receptacles out at this point. I realized I also need to GFCI protect the kitchen counter outlets so will probably do that but not sure how to figure out which one is 'first' in the circuit.

Think about all your other yard tools because battery powered can be economical to buy if you already have the battery(s). Most brands have fast chargers available.
