The Space Engineer is the representation or avatar of you, the player, and the player's way of interacting with the game environment. If you want to roleplay with a background story, you may be interested in the Engineer's Lore - or just make up your own!

The Character Screen lets you customise your avatar, the Space Engineer. All engineers look like twins, therefore it's important in multiplayer to choose a colour and suit skin to tell players apart. The Engineer will start in the spacesuit with the default skin in a random color.

Skins are the different space suit styles that the player can wear. They all have the same functionality, only the looks are different. By default, the engineer has a primary colour and a plain undecorated suit. You change your suit and tool skins in a Medical Room in game, or in the Character Screen on the game main screen.

2022年8月18日 · avatar Valkyrie shuttle 1.1 scale with fully functioning engines that rotate as well as a ramp and almost complete interior. it also has fully working landing gear that retract quite well surprisingly. not that nimble but it will get from ground to space and back in one piece.
