Nov 2, 2021 · I have an Amazon account with my spouse and we often add items to the shopping cart individually, so you can imagine how convoluted the cart can get when it comes time to check out. I’m shopping mainly on the iOS mobile app, so the option to select individual items isn’t always available.

What originally cost $79/year is now $139 + $36 (to remove ads). That's a 100% price increase over a decade. Amazon intentionally cripples their website search/sort functionality to keep customers shopping on site.

She is worried that if she cancels her student prime, that she will lose her order history and (more importantly) the photos she has on Amazon photos tied to that account.

The way you can tell is by how vigorously Amazon pushes Prime membership. They don't do that because WE save/make money, they do it because THEY save/make money. And this is a zero sum game, so them making money is the same as us losing it. Personally, I don't use Prime because I'd rather have lower prices than faster shipping.

Aug 18, 2022 · More likely is that you somehow installed or updated the Shopping app from Google Play store that overwrote the Amazon version. The Google Play version gives that message because of the commission fight between Google and Amazon. You should search for the Amazon app in Google Play store and specify that it not auto-update.

Shopping on Amazon in the early 2000s before anyone could list products for sale was such a more pleasurable experience. Product postings actually seemed curated. It's such an absolute mess that somehow, one of the largest companies with every computing service in existence, can't clean up their storefront.
LPT: You can share Amazon Prime benefits by linking accounts
Go to "Your Account" and then "Manage Your Amazon Family", from there you can link accounts and manage kids prime video settings etc. My wife is the main Amazon account in our family but my account still gets free prime delivery, access to prime video and Amazon music.

May 5, 2020 · Go to "amazon.com" on browser. Click "Prime". I am sent to a welcome screen for Prime. Click "Manage My Membership". Instead of getting to the page to manage my membership, I am instead sent back to welcome screen. I was just in Customer Support chat for over an hour and they claim that is nothing wrong on their end.
