The 6MM BR uses the standard BR headspace gauges. This chamber is well suited to the Berger, Hornady, Nosler and Sierra competition bullets in the 100- 108 gr range and the 115 DTAC. Some hunting bullets may need to be seated below the neck/shoulder junction.

Oil grooves are an available option for all chamber reamers over 22 caliber. The grooves allow for a better flow of cutting fluid as well as flushing of chips. The 6MM Creedmoor uses the standard 6.5MM Creedmoor headspace gauges.
