Yes, something as mundane as the number 1488 is censored... even when its just the world seed. Also, the chat filter applies to private servers, LAN worlds, and even singleplayer. And you can't turn it off. Please upvote this suggestion to make the chat filter toggleable, at least on non-console platforms where it isn't required:
