Québec is shared by three geo-cultural groupings of aboriginal peoples: the Eastern Woodlands Indigenous Peoples, the Subarctic Indigenous Peoples, and the Arctic Indigenous Peoples. Each designation is comprised of a variety of indigenous groups, principally, a mixture of First Nations peoples, Inuit peoples, and Métis peoples.
