Overall rogue is just as viable as any other class as the BAB is generally negligible when compared to the +90 AB you can get via buffs.

2015年1月14日 · A Rogue dip in general isn't really worthwhile for martial characters because they'll lose BAB progression essential for iterative attacks and power attack scaling and the Urban Ranger (or even Urban Barbarian) is in general a better way to get an injection of skill points into a skill-starved martial like the fighter.

None of the rogue rackets seem to reward ranged gameplay, so I'm wondering if there's something wrong with going ranged with my rogue. Thoughts? Edit: I gotta admit, I'm pretty disappointed that most answers involve multiclassing. I mean, if you need to multiclass to be a ranged rogue, you aren't really a ranged rogue. You're some mixed class.

2022年9月16日 · Thief rogue is pretty good for damage. You can use a rapier by itself (and possibly take the Duelist archetype), or dual wield a rapier and a shortsword. Good feats for damage would be Analyze Weakness , Poison Weapon , Twist the Knife , Opportune Backstab , Precise Debilitations , and Bloody Debilitations .

2012年7月1日 · In Treantmonk's guide to Rangers, he suggests that should one want to pull off an effective TWF Ranger, levels of rogue are recommended to make TWF damage relevant. I also think that a Ranger could get a fair bit out of rogue talents. Rogue would also get a lot out of the Rangers BAB, HP, and other little combat goodies.
