2020年10月14日 · enter BIOS via the Novo button (on my Lenovo Vantage Ideapad laptop, it's a small button on the right hand edge/side of the laptop), the icon is shaped like an upside down "U" & you may need a pencil or paperclip to press the button. From the Novo Boot Menu, select BIOS setup; On the "configuration" screen, scroll down to "Hotkey mode".

So my function volume keys (fn+F11 and fn+F12) are not working. Actually, only the screen brightness keys work, but im mostly interested in the sound buttons. They worked just fine before upgrading to windows 10, so i know this isn't a hardware issue.

2021年7月31日 · After I got the windows 11 update all of function keys won't change my volume, brightness or backlighting. I tried pushing fn at the same time but it had no effect. All of the buttons still work as f1-f12 just not as their primary purpose.

2019年8月2日 · A little over a week ago, I discovered that my volume and brightness keys no longer work. I believe it was after an update, though I am not entirely sure. Now, one of the brightness keys changes my window to full screen and the other pulls up something I am too technologically inept to figure out or describe.
