2022年3月26日 · I bought a KVM switch (Greathtek GHT-S7212H2-U2 115$ from amazon) with 2 HDMI input and 4 HDMI outputs (for dual monitors). So far seems like its working. I had to get a converter for the webcam from USBC to USBA. I bought an DVI to HDMI converter for my computers second display output.

2021年4月7日 · The KVM firmware is programmed to know that some graphics cards support dual mode (DP++) and send HDMI signal through the DP++ port when HDMI monitors are detected. Hence, DP++ -> KVM -> DVI works because KVM passes through incoming HDMI signal to DVI monitor. Exotic case involving a DP->DVI converter is apparently not considered by Depzol KVM.

2009年12月28日 · The outside monitors were the primary monitor for each system, holding the task bar and menus. I did not use Synergy. Rather I used the keyboard and mouse attached to the kvm switch. Each machine also had an additional mouse attached, so that I could affect the machine when the kvm switch was pointed at the other machine.

2020年12月13日 · Switch monitor on; Monitor detects DP immediately and shows it; The KVM is a bit slow in general and a few seconds later it connects the monitor with the PC via HDMI. HDMI has some protocol to make monitors detect it and so the monitor switches (first blinking) DP is higher prio than HDMI so it switches back. (second blinking)

2009年8月13日 · I had a long and frustrating experience trying to get multi-monitor KVM to work properly. Here's a synopsis of my experiences: I've ended up using two HP LP2065 monitors that have two DVI inputs and an old Belkin PS/2 KVM switch for the keyboard and mouse. The system still loses track of the keyboard and mouse occasionally.

2019年11月20日 · KVM switch has 3 VGA ports, 2 for PC1 and PC2 and the other for console. I also have two laptops that are on docking stations. For instance lets say i'm trying to get Laptop 1 to display on 2 monitors and if I wanted to, once I hit the switch, have Laptop 2 to display on 1 monitor and have Laptop 1 display on the other?

2019年3月27日 · At my desk I have my PC I use as my workstation with dual monitors. I'd like a non-software solution for getting the KVM's monitor in a window on my workstation PC. I currently have a Logitech Master mouse and a switching keyboard so they are able to switch between my workstation and the kvm with a push of a button.

I'd need a KVM that matches the following criteria: 3 inputs for the laptops; 2 outputs to two monitors supporting extended monitor or multiple display (not mirrored), or some splitting solution, and; Doesn't break the bank.

2019年5月24日 · I'm currently looking for a KVM that supports two monitors with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 and has DDM or at least Semi-DDM for input devices. DVI ist not an option, even if Dual-Layer is supported, as one of the connected devices will be a laptop with only USB-C and that cannot reasonably converted into dual-layer DVI.
