Sitting immediately east of Greenbank Cemetery, Royate Hill Local Nature Reserve is small but unique haven for wildlife. Wooded steps take you up the hillside to the top of a viaduct which crosses Combe Brook and was once home to a section of the Clifton Extension Railway.
