Episulfide - Wikipedia
In organic chemistry, episulfides are a class of organic compounds that contain a saturated, heterocyclic ring consisting of two carbon atoms and one sulfur atom. It is the sulfur analogue of an epoxide or aziridine. They are also known as thiiranes, olefin sulfides, thioalkylene oxides, and thiacyclopropanes.
Episulfide Anionic Ring-Opening Polymerization Initiated by …
2022年6月21日 · In this work, a one-pot, two-step method was developed in order to efficiently initiate the anionic ring-opening polymerization of propylene sulfide with alcohol or amine moieties using the latent thiol functionality of γ-thiolactones.
环硫化物的合成(Episulfide Synthesis) | 化学空间 Chem-Station
2015年10月3日 · 概要从环氧化物变化成环硫化物的合成手法。 由于张力的缘故,环硫化物容易开环,在酸或碱作用下可以发生聚合,受光照射发生脱硫,生成烯烃。

Allene episulfides, thiiranones, and thiiranimines have a common feature – the double bond exocyclic to a three-membered ring. That feature is expected to result in significant strain, in general, above that of thiirane and to increased reactivity.

The SATE cleavage products include the release of an equivalent of episulfide. Episulfide is known to react rapidly with nucleophiles and therefore can alkylate proteins and nucleic acids and has been identified as a mutagen (Jones & Bischofberger, 1995).
Episulfide - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
The prerequisite condition for formation of a stereoregular polymer from an epoxide or episulfide is the regioselective ring-opening of monomer molecules in the polymerization process, which results in the
Precisely Alternating Copolymerization of Episulfides and ...
2021年1月4日 · Herein, we present the trial on the copolymerization of isothiocyanates with episulfides in the presence of organic onium salts, which provides direct access to a class of sulfur-rich polymers.
comparison of the reactivities of a typical episulfide, propylene sulfide, with its analogue, propylene oxide. Ring opening of episulfides, unlilce epoxides, is frequently complicated by polymerization (3,4), since the initial thiolate ion is strongly nucleopl~ilic.

A Catalyst‐Free and Chemoselective Synthesis of Episulfides from ...
2017年6月1日 · Episulfides were obtained from various epoxides with potassium thiocyanate in polar protic solvents under ambient conditions without catalyst. Especially the use of 2,3-butandiol as a solvent, episulfides were afforded in high yield without polymerization of episulfide.
