2016年9月23日 · I have been experimenting with a hi-lift style jack, but it doesn't seem to work well with the relatively low weight of an E-Bike (it's designed for several tons, and doesn't want to descend properly most of the time) so I am going to keep the carriage of the lifting part, and use a wench to raise and lower the carriage via a pulley (will have pics to show in the near future).

2020年12月28日 · i put a regular dirt bike stand on a tree stump, and can loft either wheel a few feet up i also will put it on 2 tree stumps, and use the bike stand for the kick stand, when working on the motor area

2020年11月17日 · When I have asked in the regular shops what parts they stock or what sorts of special tools or equipment they have for E bikes the best I have got is they point to the fancy Park Tools electric bike repair stand / lift sort of thing. To me it looks like a standard bike work stand with the addition of a motorized height adjustment.

2020年11月3日 · I think ultimately you would want a cargo bike so that you would have plenty of room to carry things like large pizzas flat and in some sort of insulated enclosure. A cargo bike would also leave plenty of room for extra batteries as well as more larger deliveries like say a pizza joint that has a combo that includes 2 liter sodas.

2020年11月2日 · I finally finished my ebike build and every thing seems to work. It’s just a thing that I don’t understand, under the advance setting in the 860c menus you can set the desired top speed. I set mine to 40 km but the motor won’t cut off? Any ideas? thanks. I just tried this with the bike on a bike stand with the rear

2021年5月8日 · I can sit perfectly still, turn on bike, motors up. Turn on/off, on/off, on/off -- all works well. Then I drive it for a very short distance, even, do the same -- and the bike won't motor up after turning on ignition. I am working with Luna on this issue. I have disconnected the kick stand sensor behind bash plate, still the same.

2016年7月26日 · Which brings me to: the derailleur system on the fattie and it's chain line kinda sucks (though seems to work OK) and I have found myself eyeballing the new fat bike Rohloff hub, so far I am holding off but damn it I can think of a lot of valid reasons to have both bikes set up the same, safer and more reliable for 2.
