A private winter garden is wrapped all along the façade functioning as an additional outside space, a climate buffer and to give privacy to the apartments.

Atelier Kempe Thill designed this social housing building in the Mortmartre disctrict of the French capital. The winter garden is the conceptual basis of the project, regarded by the authors as a "contemporary interpretation of the typical balconies along the façades in many of the Haussmann apartment buildings".
